A funeral service for Mrs. William (Caroline) Gensel, 81, of Conifer, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Richer Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Tanner, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Gale Cemetery in the spring.

She was born in Turtle Point, Pa. On Nov. 13, 1882 a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Eli Peasley. Her husband died Oct. 29, 1960.

Survivors include three sons, Harry of Elmira, Garnet of Lake Luzerne, and Darwin of Tupper Lake, and three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Dorguzzi of Schenectady, Mrs. Pauline Richmond of North Stratford, N.H. and Miss Helen Gensel of Conifer.

Mrs. Gensel had surgery about three weeks ago and died about 1 p.m. Monday in Mercy General Hospital.
