(The following letter appeared in the Friday, October 6, 2006 edition of the Daily Courier-Observer newspaper, page 4).

To the Editor:

The West Stockholm Cemetery Association recently reclaimed approximately one-half acre of land for future burial needs. Trees and brush were cut, stumps and rocks were removed, and the area was power raked and then hydro seeded so it can be mowed to keep it from growing back up to brush.

Anyone with an interest in the Cemetery is invited to come see the results of our efforts. This was a large expense for our Association and we are seeking donations from interested persons or organizations to recover the funds used to pay for this work.
