This webpage is an attempt to list as many as possible of the cemeteries located in St. Lawrence County, (including names that have been used in the past, but no longer are in use), and to describe the location of each cemetery, including the map coordinates, and how to get to each cemetery. Every attempt has been made to give the reference source for each name used.

Maps: County road names and numbers are in reference to the St. Lawrence County Highway Map. If you have one of these maps, be sure that it is a 1997 or later map, since some road numbers were changed at that time. This map may be ordered through the St. Lawrence County Highway Department, 44 Park Street, Canton, New York 13617 phone315 379-1542. Cost for the map is $3.00 which includes shipping, and must be paid in advance.

If there is a stone census on these pages, it most probably is a recent one that has been taken in the last year or two (1998 or later), and for the most part it was done by taking digital photographs and then transcribing the information from the photographs. If any other stone census was used, the proper credit and source is included with the census.

As of this time (March 2000) there is still much work remaining to do on this project but I will be making corrections and changes on a regular basis. If you would like to contact me, please do so at:
