CHASE MILLS--The funeral for Mabel B. Brothers, 67, of 454 County Route 44, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Buck Funeral Home, Norfolk, with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot, pastor of the Church of the Visitation, Norfolk, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk.
Mrs. Brothers died Sunday at her home.
Calling hours are 2o to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born May 18, 1934, in Norfolk, daughter of Napoleon and Elizabeth LePage Martin, she was a homemaker. She married Elwin J. Brothers on Sept. 25, 1954.
Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Francis and Laurel, Chase Mills; four daughters and their husbands, Ann and Ralph Willard and Rita and Daniel Sharlow, all of Chase Mills, Debra and Frank Paige, Raymondville, and Brenda and John Cook, Massena; three brothers, Harold Martin, Norfolk, George Martin, Florida, and Napoleon Martin, Red Creek; three sisters, Gladys Blair, West Stockholm, Hazel Felix, Norfolk, and Ellen Simmons, Norwood, 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Paul, David and Melvin Martin; two sisters, Doris Snickles and Mary Martin, and a grandchild died before her.
