MASSENA--Roosevelt Martin, 98, died Saturday morning at Highland Nursing Home, Massena, where he had been a resident since January 1991.

Born Nov. 21, 1901, in Brandon, he was a son of George and Eliza Jandreau Martin.

Surviving are three nephews, George Martin, Florida, Harold Martin, Norfolk, and Napoleon Martin Jr., Lyons, and four nieces, Mrs. James (Gladys) Blair, West Stockholm, Mrs. Elwin (Mabel) Brothers, Chase Mills, Hazel Felix, Raymondville, and Mrs. LeRoy (Ellen) Simmons, Norwood.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Harris officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
