RAYMONDVILLE--Alice L. McComber, 90, or 8670 Route 56, died early Friday at her home.
A homemaker, she was a member of the United Methodist Church; Lyra Chapter 230, Order of the Eastern Star, and the United Methodist Women.
Born Sept. 18, 1915, in Potsdam, daughter of Burton and Effie Powell Wilkins, she attended Potsdam High School. She married Orville R. McComber on April 27, 1941, at the United Methodist Church, North Stockholm, with the Rev. Clarence E. Stearns officiating. Mr. McComber died Jan. 13, 1988.
Surviving are a son, Dale, Raymondville; a sister, Florence Clark, Norwood, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, George, Clarence and Clifford Wilkins, and a sister, Bertha Gould, died before her.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Karen Marshall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood. Donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
