Mrs. Mary L. Ormsby, 82, widow of Utly Ormsby and one time resident of Norwood, died at the home of Mr. And Mrs. Walter Lashomb in Winthrop on Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held from the home of her son Frank Ormsby, 61 Bishop avenue, Massena, on Saturday and later from the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Hale cemetery in the spring.

Mrs. Ormsby was born in Russell on Sept. 15, 1866, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Laiton. She was married to Utly Ormsby on Nov. 18, 1884 in Norwood.

The couple resided in the Norwood section for a number of years and in 1900 they moved to Massena. Mr. Ormsby died in 1916.

Surviving are her son and several nieces and nephews.
