POTSDAM--A graveside service for John C. Andrikut, 78, Philippine Drive, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Potsdam, will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Cemetery, Norwood, with the Rev. Paul Worczak, pastor of St. Andrew's Church, officiating. A memorial Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 at St. Mary's Church with the Rev. John Kennehan officiating.
Mr. Andrikut died Saturday at Mease Dunedin Hospital, Dunedin, Fla. He had been ill for two weeks.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
He served in the Army during World War II and was employed by Beechnut Packing Co., Canajoharie. He was district sales manager for Investors Diversified Service Inc. and sold time share properties along the beaches of Clearwater.
Born March 4, 1921, in Potsdam, son of George and Margaret Kovac Andrikut, he was a 1939 graduate of Potsdam High School and a 1948 graduate of Clarkson College. He married Lois L. Perkins in July 1949 at St. Mary's Church.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, John, Potsdam, and Stephen, Dunedin, Fla.; a brother, George, Newton Falls; a sister, Anna Hill, Malone, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
