Auto Body Repairman

WEST STOCKHOLM--The funeral for James T. Blair, 78, of 465 Stockholm-Knapps Station Road, will be at 10 a.m. today at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot, pastor of the Church of the Visitation, Norfolk, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.

 Mr. Blair died Thursday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where he had been a patient since Monday.

 He was a self-employed auto body repairman.

 Born Aug. 18, 1922, in Skinnerville, son of Tellisferd and Myrtle Cameron Blair, he married Helen Record on Nov. 28, 1947, at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Francis J. Conners, then pastor, officiating. She died March 4, 1982.

 He married Gladys Martin Blair on Oct. 29, 1983, at the Church of the Visitation with Monsignor John F. Pendergast officiating.

 Mr. Blair was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 2309, Norwood, the Antique Automobile Club, Ogdensburg, and the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

 Surviving besides his wife are a son, James, Potsdam; three daughters, Mrs. Ira (Patricia) Woods and Mrs. Bruce (Cynthia) Barnes, both of Massena, and Mrs. Mark (Nancy) Matthews, Rensselaer Falls; four stepsons, Martin Blair, Norwood, Francis Blair, Ryamondville, and George and Carl Blair, Norfolk; a step-daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Jane) Baughn, Peru, N.Y.; five grandchildren, 12 stepgrandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

 A brother, Henry, died before him.
