POTSDAM--Lori A. Butterfield, 36, Route 345, died Wednesday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. She had been ill with cancer.

Mrs. Butterfield, a homemaker, was a former employee of Perry's Big M grocery store.

Born Nov. 30, 1961, in Potsdam, daughter of Emmett and M. Florence Perry Duprey, she was a 1980 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and married David Butterfield on Feb. 2, 1985, at St. Andrew's Church, Norwood.

She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Church and enjoyed camping and working with crafts.

Surviving besides her husband and parents, of Norwood, are a son, Justin, and a daughter, Nicole, both at home; a brother, David Duprey, Syracuse; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Lynaya) Wallace, Norwood, and Mrs. Brian (Lisa) Burdick, Potsdam; her paternal grandmother, Albertine Duprey, Massena, and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Church with the Rev. Paul Worczak presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Seymour Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
