POTSDAM--Elizabeth M. Cantwell, 63, Potsdam, died Sunday evening at her home.

She was a homemaker.

Born March 26, 1937, in Madrid, daughter of Hugh and Frances Brouchaud Michaud, she married Leon Cantwell on Sept. 10, 1961.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Leon H., Norwood; five daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Jeanie) McLean, West Stockholm Tina and Cynthia Cantwell, both of Potsdam, Brenda Cantwell, Austin, Texas, and Mrs. John (Shirley) Shelmidine, Louisville; two brothers, James Michaud, Illinois, and Daniel Michaud, Norwood; two sisters, Nancy Michaud, Syracuse, and Virginia, whose last name and address are unknown, and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. Richard Lenz officiating. Spring burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley or the United Methodist Church, Norfolk.
