Norfolk Paper Mill retiree

NORWOOD--Charles A. Cuthbert, 96, formerly of 2665 County Route 35, died Sunday at Highland Nursing Home, Massena, where he had been a resident since July 17, 2003.
Mr. Cuthbert was a boilerman at Norfolk Paper Mill, retiring in the 1960s.
He was a communicant of St. Andrews Church. He enjoyed walking and reading and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.
Born in Norfolk, son of William T. and Rosalie T. LaPrade Cuthbert, he attended Malone schools and never married.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, William, Kenneth and Carl, and two sisters, Mary Frank Spencer and Barbara Thompson, died before him.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrews Church with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot, pastor of the Church of the Visitation, Norfolk, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
