Locksmith, maintenance man

NORWOOD--Daylon C. Cutler, 93, of 15 Whitney St., died Friday morning at his home.
Mr. Cutler was a retired locksmith and maintenance man at Clarkson College, now Clarkson University, retiring in 1973. Previously, he worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway and at Sisson paper mill in Potsdam.
He was a communicant of St. Andrews Church.
Born May 3, 1910, in Norwood, he was a son of Charles and Florence Casselman Cutler.
He married Helen M. Saber on Aug. 12, 1930. She died Jan. 27, 1996.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Rita) Donahue and Mrs. Robert (Rose) Radell, both of Norwood, and Dona Marie Watkins, Calgary, Alberta; two brothers and their wives, Earl and Wilda, Norwood, and Donald and Charlotte, Elizabeth, N.J.; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Three sons, Robert, Bernard and Daylon C. Jr., and two brothers, Clarence and L.D., died before him.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrews Church with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, pastor, officiating. Spring burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Buck Funeral Home.
