NORWOOD--The funeral for John P. Dailey, 53, Central Square, formerly of Norwood, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew's Church with the Rev. Paul Worczak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Dailey died Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Hospial, Syracuse. An autopsy is being performed to determine a cause of death.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Buck Funeral Home.

He was employed with the Douglas Agency and Northland Agency, Potsdam, and was sales manager for Trelleborg Co., a Swedish company dealing in wheel and tire systems.

Born April 29, 1947, in Potsdam, a son of George and Doris McCormick Dailey, he was a 1965 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and a graduate of Norwich University, Northfield, Vt., where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. He married Priscilla E. Pelsue in February 1969 at St. Andrew's Church with the Rev. Francis Rudd, pastor, officiating. The marriage ended in divorce. He married Elizabeth Lacks on March 6, 1981.

He was a member of St. Regis Hunting Club.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Patrick, Mechanicville; a daughter, Rebecca Dailey, Lake Placid; a stepson, Ronald Dittmar, Chadwicks; a stepdaughter, Shelly Dittmar, Central Square; a brother, James, Dallas, Texas, and two grandchildren.
