MASSENA--Eva L. Dufore, 83, of 75 Westwood Drive, died Thursday at St. Regis Nursing Home.
Mrs. Dufore was a homemaker.
Born Sept. 5, 1920, in Norfolk, she was a daughter of Philo and Bessie Shattuck Despaw.
She married Edmund Dufore on April 1, 1967. He died Dec. 14, 1991. Two previous marriages ended in divorce.
Mrs. Dufore was a former member of Lyra Chapter 230, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald Collins, Watertown, William and Mila Walter, Chicago, Ill., and Gary and Manfred Balabon, Massena; a sister, Helen Nemo, Norfolk; a brother, Paul Despaw, Massena, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Six sisters, Mildred Gushlaw, Lucia Emerson, Florence Hopps, Iva Jacobs, Wilda Duegaw and Leona Bond, and four brothers, Lyndon, Francis, Stanley and Howard Despaw, died before her.
The funeral will be a 11 a.m. Monday at Phillips Memorial Home with the Rev. George H. Belgarde officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.
A calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
