S. Ann Fiacco

Mother of 11

NORWOOD--S. Ann Fiacco, 72, of 324 County Route 48, died Saturday morning at her home.

Mrs. Fiacco was a homemaker.

Born Aug. 29, 1929, in Ogdensburg, daughter of Warren V. and Charlotte May Runion Fefee, she married Thomas Fiacco on Aug. 18, 1947.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church and the Sacred Heart League. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing bingo.

Surviving besides her husband are eight daughters, Mrs. Gene (Carol) Frego, Mrs. Steven (Connie) Capone and Suzanne Fiacco, all of Norwood, Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Lozo, Victor, Mrs. Craig (Cathy) Garlock, Alexandria Bay, Mrs. Andrew (Michelle) Crapser, Basking Ridge, N.J., Mrs. Larry (Melanie) Nichols, Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Aaron (Stephanie) Williams, Hinesburg, Vt.; two sons and their wives, Malcolm and Stephanie, and Thomas Jr. and Natalie, all of Norwood; a brother, Dart Fefee, Potsdam; two sisters, Muriel Simon, Syracuse, and Patricia Tupper, Norfolk, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A son, Michael, died Oct. 19, 1973. A brother, Arnold Fefee, and two sisters, Veronica Page and Leona Fefee, also died before her.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Church with the Rev. Paul Worczak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.

Donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Meditation Garden, Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam, or to a charity of one’s choice.

Due to incorrect information supplied to the Times, the obituary in Sunday’s paper for S. Ann Fiacco, 72, of 324 County Route 48, Norwood, contained errors. She was the daughter of Warren D. and Charlotte Mae Runion Fefee. Also, donations may be made to St. Mary’s School in Potsdam.
