Services for Mrs. Bertha Martha Ritchie Flynn, 68, formerly of Norwood, who died Saturday at the home of Fay McDonald, 47 Bay St., were held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Garner funeral home on Lawrence Ave, and a half hour later in St. Andrew's church, Norwood. The Rev. Francis Maguire, pastor, officiated and interment was in Calvary cemetery, Norwood.
She was born in Potsdam on May 1, 1882, a daughter of Frank and Augusta Osier Ritchie. She attended schools in this area and was later married to Charles M. Flynn, a New York Central railroad engineer. The couple lived for many years in Norwood where he died. Mrs. Flynn had recently made her home in Potsdam.
Survivors include several brothers and sisters.
