MASSENA--The funeral for Veronica E. Kemp, 81, of 43 Prospect Ave., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew’s Church, Norwood, with the Rev. Paul Worczak officiating. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Kemp died Friday at St. Regis Nursing Home.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.

She was a nurse anesthetist in various places including Syracuse, California, Ticonderoga, Warsaw and Massena. She had worked for a year at a mission hospital in Newfoundland.

Born July 8, 1921, in Montezuma, daughter of William and Helen Waters Scanlon, she married Arthur Kemp on June 24, 1960. He died October 1972.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church.

Surviving are a son and his wife, Thomas and Heather, Essex Junction, Vt., and two grandchildren.
