Hazel Lattimer (died August 22, 1913)
Death of Mrs. William Lattimer After Long Illness.
Mrs. William [Hazel] Lattimer passed to the life beyond, Friday at midnight, in her 25th year. She had been sick about one year with that dread disease, consumption.
In June she was taken to Joe Indian in hopes she might be benefited by the change, but she did not gain as her friends hoped she would, and as she longed for her home she was brought back here a little over a week ago, and it made her very happy to be with her family again. All that loving hearts could do was done, but God wanted Hazel and she went to join the little son that left her a few years ago.
She leaves to mourn their loss a husband [William F. Lattimer Jr.]. two small children [William G. & Hazel G. Lattimer]; her husband's mother, Mrs. Mary [Beardon] Lattimer; her parents, of Potsdam; as sister, Mrs. Frank, also of Potsdam, besides a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at R .C. curch, Monday, at 10 am , Father Cole officiating.
Interment in the Calvary cemetery, Norwood.
Among those present at the funeral from out of town was William R. Stearns of Massena.
