COURIER AND FREEMAN, JANUARY 9, 1918

John P. Mackey died at his home in Cottage St. last Monday, Dec. 31, of

pneumonia, aged 56 years. Mr. Mackey was ill only a week. Besides

his wife he leaves five sons, Leonard of Ogdensburg, Edward of

Utica, Harold of Worcester, Mass., Earl and Lawrence who reside at

home, one daughter, Miss Jennie Mackey, and several sisters and one

brother. His funeral took place on Thursday Jan. 3 at 9 at St. Andrews

church, Rev. Fr. Roche officiating.

Burial in Calvary cemetery.
