NORWOOD--Daniel T. Michaud, 58, of 53 Italian Road, died of lung cancer Tuesday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
Mr. Michaud worked at Reynolds Metals, Massena, as an electrician, retiring in 2001 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Ogdensburg, son of Hugh and Frances Branchaud Michaud, he married Freda Mariea on Nov. 11, 1967.
Surviving are a wife, a son and his wife, Scott and Alyson, Canon City, Colo.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marci Michaud, Norwood and Deanna and Travis VanBrocklin, Canton; a brother, James, Indiana; a sister, Nancy Jandrew, Theresa; a half-sister, Virginia Borsello, Massena; and two grandchildren.
A brother, Nelson, a sister, Elizabeth Cantwell, and a half-brother, Floyd Michaud, died before him.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrews Church with Msgr. Robert Aucoin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Buck Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
