MASSENA--Thena M. Trimboli, 72, of 219 Barnhart Road, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday in Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since March 2.

Mrs. Trimboli was a housekeeper and cook at St. Joseph's Church rectory.

Born Oct. 1, 1927, in Raymondville, a daughter of Roy and Ida Munson Grandy, she was a 1945 graduate of Norwood High School and married Anthony P. Trimboli on Sept. 18, 1948, at St. Andrew's Church, Norwood, with the Rev. Paul Hagan officiating. Mr. Trimboli died Feb. 17, 1993.

She was a volunteer at St. Regis Nursing Home and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, where she worked at Monday night bingo games. She enjoyed bowling, flowers and embroidery.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mitze) Jones, Lisbon, and Kathi Trimboli, Malone; three sisters, Esther Charlebois, Potsdam, and Mrs. Maurice (Laura) Fullerton and Mrs. Neil (Mary) Emburey, both of Norwood; a grandson, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Jack Downs officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.

There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Donaldson Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
