Helen M. Bradish

Retired Schoolteacher

POTSDAM--A funeral mass for Helen M. Bradish, 85, Bay Street, will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. John P. Kennehan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

 Mrs. Bradish died Friday afternoon at Community Nursing Home, where she had resided since May 24.

 Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Garner Funeral Home.

 She was a teacher in rural schools and at Norwood-Norfolk and Potsdam Central Schools. She retired in 1984. She was a communicant of St., Mary's Church and a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association , National Education Association, New York State United teachers, Canton-Potsdam Hospital Guild, American Association of Retired Teachers and Niagara Mohawk retired members group.

 Born March 20, 1914, in Potsdam, she was a daughter of William and Edith Quigley Morgan. She graduated in 1929 from Madrid High school, in 1932 from Potsdam Normal School and in 1952 from Potsdam State University College.

 She married Wilfred E. Bradish on Nov. 4, 1945, at St. John's Church, Madrid. Mr. Bradish, a retired line supervisor for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., died March 29, 1980.

Surviving are a son, Frank W., Potsdam, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Marian Morgan, died in 1932.

 Donations may be made to the Friends of Pine Street Arena, in the care of Potsdam Recreation Commission, Potsdam Civic Center, Potsdam, N.Y. 13676.
