Owned Bakery

OGDENSBURG--Paul P. Trivilino, 88, Riverside Drive, died Wednesday at the Hepburn Medical Center emergency room.
Mr. Trivilino purchased the Handley bakery, 407 Ford St., in 1948, operating it as Trivilino's Bakery. He retired in early 1988, selling the bakery to Donald A. Ballou and Ogdensburg artist John A. Morrow.
An avid racehorse fan, he owned harness racehorses for more than 20 years, racing at Vernon Downs, at Lansdowne Racecourse in Ontario and in Pennsylvania.
He was a life member of the Ogdensburg Elks club and a member of the A.D. Charbonneau Knights of Columbus Council 258.
Born April 2, 1910, in Italy, a son of Umberto and Francesca Forgione Trivilino, he came to the United States as a young child. He graduated from Norwood High School and attended St. Lawrence University, Canton.
He married Marion Goldrick on July 28, 1935, at St. Joseph's Church, Malone, with the Rev. F.M. Kenny officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Trivilino lived in Malone from 1935 to 1948, when they moved to Ogdensburg. Mrs. Trivilino died April 3, 1987.
Surviving are a daughter, Paula Rickett, Ogdensburg; two brothers, Hermon, South Colton, and Richard, Norwood; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Lawrence R., and a sister, Giovina Hughes, died before him.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at McLellan Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, the Rev. Joseph P. Wheelock officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Malone.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
