NORWOOD--A spring graveside service for Ada R. Baker, 72, of 6 Baldwin Ave., will be in Chase Mills Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker died Wednesday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
There will be no funeral or calling hours. Arrangements are with Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
She was a homemaker.
Born May 20, 1933, in Waddington, daughter of John and Mary Eaton Finnie, she married Ira Baker Jr., on Dec. 29, 1951, at the Methodist Church parsonage in Potsdam with the Rev. Kenneth A. Halstead officiating. Mr. Baker died Dec. 4, 1979.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Almond (Patricia) Gordon, Mountain City, Ga., Katherine Baker, Massena, and Debbie Hazelton, Ogdensburg; four brothers, Carl Finnie, Chase Mills, William Finnie, Madrid, Raymond Finnie, Florida, and Johnny Finnie, Massena; a sister, Norma "Jean" Dauphinais, Massena, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Robert Finnie, died before her.
