Mrs. Henry H. N. Baker

Mrs. Henry H. N. Baker, for many years residing on Market street in this village, died at the home of her daughter in Heuvelton, Monday.

Mrs. Baker was born in Norwood, her maiden name being McKenty. She was a woman of pleasing personality and devoted to her home and family.

Her husband was for many years foreman in the Courier and Freeman office and in 1905 became associated with the present owner of the Herald-Recorder. He lived, however only a year and a quarter after the partnership was formed.

Mrs. Baker’s remains were brought here Wednesday and interment made beside her husband at Bayside.

She is survived by two sons, Herbert of Brooklyn, and Homer of Lake Placid and by two daughters, Mrs. M. F. Mayne of Heuvelton and Mrs. M. White of Syracuse.
