NORWOOD--The funeral for Elizabeth J. Baxter, 77, Community Nursing Home, Potsdam, formerly of Route 47, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk.
Mrs. Baxter died early Friday in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was a homemaker.
Born April 5, 1921, in West Stockholm, daughter of Carl and Eartle Cameron Drew, she married Marcil Baxter on sept. 10, 1939, in Canton with the Rev. Donald Stearns officiating.
She was a member of Knapps Station United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Charlotte) Slater, Sandy Creek, a nephew and a niece.
Two brothers, Harold and Ward Drew, and a sister, Mary Shatraw, died before her.
