MASSENA--The funeral for Elizabeth M. "Betty" Brady, 78, formerly of North Main Street, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Northside Community Church with the Rev. George W. Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Norfolk.
Mrs. Brady died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday at St. Regis Nursing Home.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with Phillips Memorial Home.
She was a homemaker and a beautician.
Born April 16, 1926, in Norwood, daughter of William and Lena Rae Chase Hammond, she was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She married Kenneth F. Brady on Sept. 1, 1947. He died July 6.
She was a member of Northside Community Church and Massena Country Club, sang with the Sweet Adelines and was an avid bowler.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Dorothy Baker, Montreal, Quebec; her nieces and guardians, Susan Baker, Ontario, and Marcia Brown, Sackets Harbor; three other nieces, Bonnie Miller, North Carolina, Marcia McBride, Colorado, and Mary Lou Hammond, address unavailable, and seven nephews, Daniel Hammond, North Carolina, Paul Hammond, Syracuse, Frederick, Timothy and Kenneth Baker, all of Ontario, and Gerald and William E. Hammond, addresses unavailable.
Five brothers, Clyde, Arthur, Douglas, Neil and William Hammond, died before her.
