NORWOOD--The funeral for Caroline A. Bregg, 46, of 3 Morgan St., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam.
Mrs. Bregg died Friday afternoon at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She had been ill with cancer.
She was a registered nurse for nine years at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
Born in Pittsfield, Mass., daughter of Harold L. and Dorothy E. Gallagher Lambert, she attended Pittsfield High School and Berkshire Community College, Pittsfield, and received a bachelors degree in education from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams. She earned a nursing degree in 1996 from Canton College of Technology and a masters degree from Potsdam State University College.
A marriage to Martin Bregg ended in divorce.
She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint and her childrens sporting events.
Surviving besides her parents, of Pittsfield, are four sons and a daughter-in-law, Andrew, serving in the Marine Corps, and his wife, Mary, North Carolina. Jason, Charleston, S.C., and Sandar and Damon, both at home; a daughter, Eniko Bregg, Syracuse; a companion, Leonard Halpern, Norwood; a brother, Stephen Lambert, Lawrence, Kan.; a sister and her husband, Catherine and Joseph Carchedi, Pittsfield, a grandchild and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Nan Rutledge Scholarship Fund, in care of Canton-Potsdam Hospital, or to Hospice & Palliative care of St. Lawrence Valley.
