NORWOOD--Arthur F. Corbett, 60, Spring Street, formerly of Watertown, died Thursday afternoon after being stricken in a restaurant in Champlain on his way home after being discharged from Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vt.

 Mr. Corbett was a registered nurse and a chef in Albion, Rochester, Los Angeles, Calif. and Albany.

 Born Jan. 22, 1940, in Watertown, a son of George and Sarah Luffman Corbett, he attended schools in Watertown and Potsdam. A marriage ended in divorce.

 He enjoyed cooking and playing card games. He had returned to the area in 1987.

 Surviving are a son, Jeffrey, address unknown; three brothers, William, Ogdensburg, Robert, Rochester, and John, address unknown, and three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Jean) Johnson and Mrs. John (Susan) Weitzmann, both of Potsdam, and Mary Oney, Colton.

 Two brothers, Thomas and David, died before him.

 The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam, with the Rev. Russell Clark officiating. Spring burial will be in Bayside Cemetery, Potsdam.

 Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
