NORWOOD--The funeral for Lloyd Derushia, 78, Norwood, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Buck Funeral Home, Norfolk, with the Rev. J. Everett Denesha, pastor of St. Raymonds Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville.
Mr. Derushia died Sunday at his home.
Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Derushia worked for Fullers Waste Route in Norfolk.
Born Aug. 6, 1926, in Norfolk, he was a son of Clarence and Phoebe Jandreau Derushia.
He attended the Massena Day Habilitation program, where he enjoyed interaction and activities with other seniors. He also enjoyed dining out, going to church, and outdoor activities.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Eileen Derushia, Raymondville, and several nieces and nephews including a niece and her husband, Diddi and Charles LaComb, Norfolk.
A brother, Leo C., died Feb. 27, 2000.
