NORWOOD--Whilemia M. diVincenzo, 86, of 37 Prospect St., died Tuesday in Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where she had been a patient since Sunday.

Mr. DiVencenzo was a registered nurse, employed in Saranac Lake, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital and as a nursing instructor at Seaway Technical Center in Norwood.

Born Sept. 3, 1918, in Washington, D.C., daughter of John W. and Caroline M. Septgast Dimond, she was president of her nursing class at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City.

She married Guido "Bud" diVincenzo on Aug. 3, 1948. Mr. And Mrs. diVincenzo moved from Norwood to Asheboro, N.C., in 1977, and moved back to Norwood a month ago.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Antonia, North Hartford, Conn., and Michael and Denise, Norwood, and three grandsons.

A sister, Caroline Montgomery, died before her.

There will be no funeral or calling hours. Arrangements are with Buck Funeral Home, Norwood. Donations may be made to Potsdam Animal Shelter, Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley or North Carolina Zoological Society at Asheboro.
