NORWOOD--The funeral for Effie V. Dunn, 82, of 118 Leroy Street, Meadow East Apartments, Potsdam, formerly of 3 Lang St., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Harris officiating. Spring burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Morristown.

 Mrs. Dunn died early Friday at her home.

 Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Dunn was a bookkeeper and optician in Glendale, Calif., and also a homemaker.

 Born Sept. 16, 1916, in Mullinville, Kan., she was a daughter of James and Josie Marshall Beckett.

 She married Walter N. Dunn on Nov. 10, 1945, at Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Dunn was a supervisor for New York Telephone Co. at Potsdam for 38 years. He died Nov. 5, 1991.

 Surviving are a son, Walter N. Jr., Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Ted (Barbara) Coons, Deltona, Fla.; two brothers, Jesse Beckett, Ordway, Colo., and Charles Beckett, Ruch, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Josephine) Mayhan, Clayton, N.M. and three grandchildren

 A sister, Mrs. L.E. Hurless, died before her.
