Hazel Edwards

 

(September 24, 1889-February 28, 1975)

 

Private funeral services for Hazel Edwards, 85, of 91 Market Street, Potsdam, were held Sunday, March 2, 1975 at the Garner Funeral Home with the Rev. Canon James Pennock officiating. Burial will be made in Bayside Cemetery.

 Mrs. Edwards died Friday, February 28.

 She is survived by six sons, Loren, Hollis and Jack of Potsdam, Marlyn of Norwood, Wallis of Texarkana, Ark. and Athol of DeKalb Junction, 14 grandchildren, a brother in Florida, and two sisters in Canada. One son, Wendell, predeceased her.

 She was born September 24, 1889 at Clarenceville, Quebec, a daughter of Alexander T. and Mary Fairfield Hunter. She married Keith Edwards many years ago. The couple lived in Vermont and moved to this area about 1915. They later separated.

 Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Anglican Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Lyra Chapter, Norwood and the Rebekkahs, Norwood.
