Clerk, Alcoa Timekeeper

NORWOOD--Joyce Emlaw, 75, County Route 47, died Saturday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Tuesday.
Mrs. Emlaw was a timekeeper at Alcoa and a clerk in stores in Potsdam and Massena.
Born Aug. 21, 1923, in Peru, Maine, she was a daughter of Than and Blanche Knight Charity.
She married Leland Emlaw on Oct. 23, 1943.
Mrs. Emlaw was a member of Norfolk United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her husband are her mother, of Norfolk; two sons, Ronald and Robert, both of Norfolk; a daugher, Donna Lee Emlaw, Norfolk; two brothers, Lee Charity, Norwood, and Bruce Charity, New Market, N.H.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Norfolk United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Lenz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Bixby cemetery, Norfolk.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Buck Funeral Home, Norfolk.
