Henry A. Frauton Dies At Norwood

 

(died June 2, 1927)

 

Henry A. Frauton passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday June 2 at his home at Norwood after an illness of five months. He was a great sufferer from heart trouble.

The funeral was held from his late home on Sunday at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. Joseph Phillips officiating and speaking words of comfort to the bereaved ones. He was buried in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery, Canton. He married Miss Mary B. Wallace, Morley. He was tenderly cared for by his wife and sister-in-law, Edith Wallace Dove. Everything that loving hands could do for him was done.

Mr. Frauton was born at Waddington 61 years ago the son of Frederick and Sarah Armstrong Frauton. He has lived at Norwood for the past 22 years. His pall bearers were as follows: John Foster, Potsdam; William West, John Drake, Knowlton Varney, Charles Finnimore, and Arthur Chase of Norwood. Two lovely songs were sung by George McClellan, a cousin. The flowers from the Brotherhood of R. C. and friends were beautiful and showed the esteem in which he was held. He worked for the N. Y. Central Railroad for 13 years. He was a faithful man and was thought well of by his fellow workers.

Friends from out of town were Mr. And Mrs. Joseph LaGrow, Mrs. Mary Frauton, Fred LaGrow, Mr. And Mrs. Silas Crary, Mr. J. Rosenburg, Roy Rosenburg, Canton.
