Construction Worker
(December 26, 1908--April 29, 1999)
POTSDAM--Donald F. Gilbo, 90, Unionville, died Thursday in Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Mr. Gilbo served with the Army and was a construction worker for Peckham Industries and Elliott Hardwood until his retirement.
Born Dec. 26, 1908, in Norwood, a son of Kathleen and William L. Gilbo, he married Anna Mae Gardner on Sept. 19, 1952, in Concord, N.H.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, William L. II, Brasher Falls, and Gerald R., Grandville; a daughter, Mrs. Steven (Karen) Cullen, Fort Edward; a brother, Wayland, Potsdam; 11 grandhildren and several nephews and nieces.
Five brothers, Robert, Bernard, Lyle, Akley and Darwin, and four sisters, Eleanor Jandrew, Doris Cook, Irene Page and Mae Gilbo, died before him.
The funeral will be at 3 P.M. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Samuel K. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Parishville.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
