Tupper Lake Native

POTSDAM--Joan Laramay Harrington, 61, Denver, Colo., formerly of Potsdam, died Oct. 21 at St. Josephs Hospital, Denver.
Mrs. Harrington was a homemaker.
Born Sept. 20, 1940, in Tupper Lake, a daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Baldwin Laramay, she married Clyde A. Harrington on June 12 1959, at St. Philips Episcopal Church, Norwood. The couple moved to Denver in 1966.
She was a painter, and also enjoyed ceramics and sewing. Surviving besides her husband and her mother of Potsdam are a son, Scott, Port Byron, Ill.; a daughter and her husband, Lori and Bruce Stonebrook, Nucomus town, Ohio; three sisters, Dorothy Laramay Brockway and Carol Laramay Wheeler, both of Potsdam, and Margaret "Peg" Lytle Downing, Florida; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated. Arrangements were with Newcomer Family Mortuary, Lakewood, Colo.
