Mrs. Honor Jones, widow of Anola (?) Jones, died early Monday morning after a long illness at her home with her son, Samuel A. Jones, 201 North Orchard Street, aged 81 years.

Mrs. Jones was born at Waddington, St. Lawrence county. The greater part of her life was passed there and in Norwood. She is survived by two sons, Samuel of this city and Wilbur of Herrings; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin I. Douns of Chicago, Mrs. James Gilbert of Pittsburg and Mrs. Luman Laurence of Norwood; one brother, John McDowell of Waddington.

A prayer service was held at her late home Tuesday afternoon. Rev. George H. Nelson officiating. The body was taken on the 9:35 train Wednesday morning to Norwood for the funeral, which was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Luman Laurence at 2:30 p.m. Interment was made at Norwood.
