NORWOOD--The funeral for Carrie E. Lashomb, 74, of 63 Elm St., will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Sweeney, pastor of Knapps Station Community Church, officiating. The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Lashomb died Monday afternoon at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lashomb was a homemaker.
Born Dec. 24, 1928, in Potsdam, daughter of Francis and Polly Fredenburg Jandreau, she married Howard Paro and Ralph Lashomb, who both died.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Lashomb, Norwood, Melvin Lashomb, North Lawrence, David Lashomb, Potsdam, and Nelson Paro, Lancaster, Mass.; five daughters, Linda Lashomb, North Lawrence, Catherine Newton, Norwood, Patti Paro and Polly Paro, both of Leominster, Mass., and Penny LaMere, Athol, Mass.; four brothers, Lloyd, Alec and Vern Jandreau, all of Norwood, and Kenneth Jandreau, Winthrop; three sisters, Inez Fredenburg, Shortsville, Irene Pike, Raymondville, and Pauline White, Knapps Station; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
