RUPERT LITTLEJOHN, POTSDAM, DIES AT 83
POTSDAM -- Rupert Littlejohn, 83, Mayfield Apartments, died Saturday morning at the Community Nursing Home after a long illness.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley, Quebec.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood.
Memorial donations may be made to the Potsdam Rescue Squad's Potsdam unit.
Surviving are his wife, Rosamond; a son, Ian Bown, Fort Belvoir, Va., and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Guy, died before him.
Born Dec. 24, 1909, in Stanstead, Quebec, a son of Robert and Martha Fyfe Littlejohn, he attended local schools. He married Rosamond Reed on Aug. 16, 1938.
Mr. Littlejohn worked as a machinist at the Nekoosa Paper Co. in Potsdam until retiring in December 1974.
He was a member of the United Church of Canada and a mason in Mount Moriah Lodge 38 of Montreal, Quebec.
