MASSENA--The funeral for Josephine T. MacDonald, 71, Massena, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Donaldson Funeral Home with the Rev. George Middleton, pastor of Northside Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Louisville Community Cemetery.

 Mrs. MacDonald died Sunday evening in St. Regis Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since April 1998.

 There will be no calling hours.

 She was a homemaker.

 Born July 23, 1929, in Potsdam, daughter of William and Ida Emnpey Trussell, she attended schools in Norwood. She married Lloyd V. MacDonald on Aug. 14, 1948, in Lousiville Landing. He died before her.

 She enjoyed gardening.

 Surviving are two sons, Larry V. and David R., both of Massena, and a daughter, Mrs. Trent (Linda) Macdonald-Emery, Massena.

 Two sisters died before her.

 Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, N.Y. 13204.
