NORWOOD--Harriet Henderson Mackey, 78, Spokane, Wash., a native of Norwood, died June 20 in Spokane.
Mrs. Mackey was a homemaker.
Born June 5, 1924, in Norwood, daughter of William and Edna More Henderson, she graduated from Norwood High School and from Effie Wallace School of Business, Ogdensburg.
She married Richard Mackey in 1946. The couple had lived in Spokane for the past 56 years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, past president of the Ladys 18-hole Golf Club at the Spokane Country Club and past president of the Couples 50 Dance Club.
Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Daniel and Darlene, Mead, Wash.; a daughter, Linda Moe, Colville, Wash.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A sister, Jean Henderson Dailey, died before her.
The funeral was June 26 at Fourth Memorial Church of Spokane. Arrangements were with Riplinger Funeral Home, Spokane. Donations may be made to Horizon Hospice, 12 E. Rowan, Suite L5, Spokane, Wash. 99207.
