NORWOOD--A funeral Mass for Eleanor D. MacLeod, 76, Norwood, will be said at noon Monday at St. Andrew’s Church with the Rev. Paul Worczak officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.

 Mrs. MacLeod died Thursday at her home.

 Calling will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam.

 Mrs. MacLeod was a nurse’s aide at Potsdam Hospital for a few years and then was a waitress at Potsdam Bowling Alley. She also was a receptionist and an assistant to Dr. Michael S. Smith at Trout Brook Veterinary Clinic, Potsdam.

 Born Jan. 5, 1926, at Colton, daughter of Edmond and Cora Preston Chase, she attended Colton schools, graduating in 1943.

 She married Donald W. MacLeod on Nov. 13, 1965, at First Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. They renewed their wedding vows Jan. 30, 1980, at St. Andrew’s Church with the Rev. John Wiley officiating. Mr. MacLeod died Oct. 14, 1990.

 Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

 Donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Church or to Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
