NORWOOD--David L. Matthews, 78, New Port Richey, Fla., father of Patricia Matthews, Norwood, died Wednesday at his home.

 The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church, Hudson, Fla. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.

 Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the church.

 Arrangements are with Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, New Port Richey.
