NORWOOD--Kenneth T. McDonald, 95, Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Norwood, died Friday at Ormond Beach.
Mr. McDonald was superintendent of Parish Oil Co., Parish, where he worked for 28 years, retiring in 1966. He then moved to Ormond Beach and worked for Keystone Manufacturing Co., for 12 years.
He was born in 1908 in Potsdam, son of George and Zana McDonald. He married Retha Beckstead of Lisbon. She died Dec. 30, 1995.
He was a former member of the Norwood-Norfolk Central School board of education, a member of the Potsdam Lions Club and a member of the Masonic Lodge in South Colton.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Kenneth and Helen, Alexandria Bay; two daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Bill Harris, Colton and Ormond Beach, and Joyce and Jack Ulrich, Holly Hill, Fla.; two sisters, Arreta Ware, Parish, and Gloria Young, Palm Beach, Fla., eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at the Chapel of Prince of Peace at Ormond Beach. Burial at a later date will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Potsdam.
Arrangements are with Alavon Direct Cremations, South Daytona, Fla.
