NORWOOD--The funeral for Paul Joseph Michaud, 103, of 452 Austin Ridge Road, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Marys Church, Potsdam, with the Rev. Edward E. Papp officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Potsdam.
Mr. Michaud died Sunday evening at the home of his daughter Mrs. Russell (Barbara) Colbert, where he had resided for 24 years.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Buck Funeral Home.
Mr. Michaud was a farmer on Sisson Road, Potsdam.
Born Feb. 5, 1900, in Alexandria, Ontario, he was a son of George and Helen Delorme Michaud.
He married Leona Jerome in July 1924. She died March 24, 1994.
Surviving besides his daughter are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert, Harrison, Ohio, and Richard and Marlene, Rochester; another daughter, Gloria Morgan, Waddington; six brothers, George, Canada, Bernard, William and Donald, all of Massena, Leland, California, and David, Plattsburg ; a sister, Cecelia Hall, Florida; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Douglas and Howard, a daughter, Helen Weegar, six brothers, Hugh, Jerry, Kenneth, John, Ralph and Joseph, four sisters, Sarah Walters, Mabel Sharlow, Mary Durant and Theresa Richey, and four grandchildren died before him
