NORWOOD--Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Earl Miller, 48, of Route 1, Norwood, were held Saturday, June 8, 1974 at 1 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. William E. Rogers, pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Potsdam, officiating. Burial was in King's Daughters Cemetery, West Potsdam.
Mr. Miller, a truck driver for the J.C. Merriman Co., died Wednesday, June 5, 1974 at the Potsdam Unit, Central St. Lawrence Health Services, where he had been a patient one day. He had been previously hospitalized.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertha T. Miller; a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Irene) Thompson, West Stockholm; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Born at Louisville Oct. 8, 1925, son of Gilbert and Pearl Cheney Miller, he married Bertha Tupper Oct. 16, 1948 at Hopkinton. Prior to working for the J.C. Merriman Co. he had been employed by Potsdam Feed and Coal for more than 25 years.
