Peter P. Molnar

Retired Bricklayer

NORWOOD--Peter P. Molnar, 91, Orange City, Fla., formerly of Norwood, died April 22 at Fish Memorial Hospital, Orange City.

 Mr. Molnar was a union bricklayer in Canton for 40 years, retiring in 1972. He moved to Orange City in 1982.

 Born June 29, 1910, in Buffalo, son of Andrew and Helen Almasy Molnar, he married Julia Gang on Nov. 21, 1936, at the Church of the Visitation, Norfolk. She died Oct. 28, 1983. He married Teresa Dillon in 1997.

 He was an avid fisherman and coin collector.

 Surviving besides his wife are a son, Peter Molnar Jr., Chattanooga, Tenn.; a daughter, Shirley Agee, Port St. John, Fla., nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

 A sister, Helen Molnar, and two brothers, Louis and Frank, died before him.

 A memorial Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Andrew J. Amyot officiating. The funeral was April 25 at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home Chapel, Orange City.
