Farmer, antiques dealer

DENMARK--Howard B. Moshier, 69, Denmark, died Friday morning at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Mr. Moshier owned and operated a farm on Route 26, that had belonged to his parents. He and his wife, Carol, had owned and operated H. Moshier antiques for the past 38 years.
He was an amateur radio operator and enjoyed collecting farm toys, landscaping his ponds and watching wildlife.
Born Oct. 3, 1934, in Lowville, son of Amos R. and Antoinette Knapp Moshier, he graduated in 1952 from Lowville Academy.
He served in the Army from 1956 to 1958, during which he attended electronics training school at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama.
He married Carol A. Lyman on Aug. 14, 1965, at Norwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank I. Smith officiating.
Surviving besides his wife are two sisters, Joyce Berend, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Richard (Eileen) Fletcher, Shingletown, Calif.; three nieces, three nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Virkler-Percoski Funeral Home, Lowville. Spring burial will be in Swinburne Cemetery, Deer River.
A calling hour will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
